The University of Wisconsin System Expands Their Use of TMA
TULSA, OK, May 23, 2008 As a result of the continued benefits being realized by the University of Wisconsin System, it was recently announced that the University of Wisconsin River Falls will begin implementation of TMA Enterprise as its Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Having no existing CMMS, the selection process by the University centered on a review of what other University of Wisconsin campuses were using. The decision to go with TMA stemmed in large part from the benefits other campuses were receiving by their use of TMA. Another critical factor for the University was providing a solution that could be embraced by users as a positive change to their existing method of maintenance operations. TMA Enterprise met this objective because of its ease of use as well as the broad array of technical specifications required in a CMMS.
Mike Koenig, Director of Sales of TMA Systems, stated, For over a decade, we have been meeting the needs of the University of Wisconsin System. We are proud to include the University of Wisconsin River Falls in this exciting partnership.

About University of Wisconsin River Falls (www.uwrf.edu)
The University of Wisconsin River Falls was founded in 1874 as the fourth State Normal School in Wisconsin and the first in the northwestern part of the state. The addition of a four-year curriculum in 1926 preceded the change of all state normal schools to state teacher colleges in 1927. In 1951, with the addition of liberal arts courses, the school was designated Wisconsin State College at River Falls. When graduate courses were added in 1964 the name became Wisconsin State University River Falls. The present name came with the merger of the state universities and the prestigious University of Wisconsin System in 1971. With the founding of the College of Business and Economics in 2001, the University now has four colleges, including the College of Arts and Sciences; the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; and the College of Education and Professional Studies.
River Falls is located along the beautiful Kinnickinnic River and is named for a cascading falls at the junction of the South Fork and the Kinnickinnic. The University is the western-most institution of the 26-campus University of Wisconsin System. Increasingly, it is being called upon to meet the educational needs of the expanding Twin Cities Metropolitan area that includes River Falls. The University of Wisconsin River Falls is the only public university located in the St. Croix River watershed of 7,650 square miles in western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.
