Hospital Shared Services Begins Implementation of TMA’s Web-based Solution

PRESS RELEASE. TULSA, OK, January 5, 2009 – Hospital Shared Services, one of the leading support services providers in the United States, announced today that they have started implementing WebTMA for their Medical Equipment Management Division.  WebTMA, a leading web-based CMMS in the industry, will be utilized by HSS for their maintenance operations and asset management.

Having an existing system that was internally developed, the selection process by HSS centered on providing a solution that could be embraced by users as a positive change to their day-to-day duties. WebTMA met this objective because of its ease of use, as well as all other technical specifications HSS required in a CMMS.  The new system is viewed as an important tool that will enhance their technicians’ productivity by allowing HSS to more effectively manage their work orders and other maintenance data.

Dustin Taylor, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at TMA Systems, stated, “We’re very pleased to have Hospital Shared Services as a new client. We believe the selection of WebTMA came down to the high value the application offers and the ability to handle the unique needs of their divisions.”
