Project Description:
The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) purchased TMA in September 2005 as their Computerized Maintenance Management System with the system being fully implemented in February 2006.

The AOC is responsible to the United States Congress for the maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the United States Capitol Complex. The 9 jurisdictions that comprise the AOC include Senate, House, Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Capitol Grounds, Capitol Power Plant, Botanical Gardens, and General Facilities. These facilities provide workspace for thousands of employees and are visited by millions of guests annually. Responsive maintenance and appropriate care of AOC facilities and assets is a top priority.

TMA Enterprise, the implemented CMMS, is an enterprise wide solution critical to supporting the AOC's business operations. It supports over 100 direct system users, and affects a thousand or more customers with the capability of processing at least 200,000 work orders a year. TMA Enterprise serves many key functions at the AOC; however, the predominant business functions include demand and PM work order management, project management, space inventory, integrated handheld barcode scanners as well as reporting/management dashboards.

As part of the project, TMA fulfilled the duties of requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, training, and deployment of the CMMS. With the successful implementation of TMA Enterprise, the AOC was able to move forward in developing a comprehensive preventive maintenance and capital improvement program. These assessments continue to help the AOC compare conditions among facilities, evaluate and plan funding requirements, set goals, and track progress.
